01 · The challenge
Giving context to a complex facility.
Understanding a manufacturing facility means understanding its spaces, functions and how different areas relate to each other. The challenge was to make this possible remotely, helping scientists and evaluators prepare technical visits while respecting the private nature of the facilities.
02 · The approach
An experience organised around the space and its visitors.
Navigation by area
Reception, meeting rooms, offices, production, changing rooms, canteen and warehouse organised into a journey that makes each area easy to find and explore.
Institutional context
The Discover Pharmapoli section brings together information about the company, capabilities, quality and control, people and innovation.
Five languages
Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian support the presentation of the facilities to international audiences.
Restricted access
The tour remains password protected. The case study presents the project publicly; exploring the facilities is reserved for authorised visitors.
03 · Operational value
Arrive with a clearer understanding.
The journey was designed to support preparation for in-person visits and help visitors understand the facilities before travelling.
- Understand the layout and different areas of the facility in advance.
- Prepare questions and identify points of interest for a technical visit.
- Support remote presentations, reducing the need for preliminary site visits.
Applications in the pharmaceutical industry
Present technical facilities with fewer site visits.
For pharmaceutical companies, laboratories and other manufacturing facilities, this type of experience can support partner presentations and preparation for technical visits. Remote exploration can reduce preliminary travel and entry into controlled areas, helping limit operational disruption and the exposure of environments to visitors.
Each project is adapted to the facility’s access, confidentiality and operational requirements.
